| For
weeks now Henley has been full of rowers, their
coaches, families and fans...with the
Men's Regatta
now coming into day two. We wish everyone the
best of luck in one of the world's most prestigious
races. Unfortunately, down by the river can
sometimes be devoid of any craft beer, so it
might be worth pre-loading with a few good beers at
our place or why not pick up a Party 9. |

Interview with The Independent |

| I
recently sat down with Will Hawkes of the
Independent newspaper. He's been writing a lot
about craft beer. What is craft beer?
This is something that people have been struggling
to define. One way I like to think of it is
that craft beer is beer that you are able to have
access to the people that made the beer.
You're able to talk to them, see and feel how the
beer is made. I like the term craft beer because in my mind it
encompasses what we do (100% natural, cold,
carbonated beer with flavour) and what people call
'real ale' here in the UK (of which we by the
strict CAMRA definition cannot be classified).

Party Keg |

We now have 20 litre kegs available for takeaway
from the tasting room. A smart tap fits right
onto the keg and you can have yours guests pour
their own Lovibonds. All you need to provide
is a bucket of ice water to keep the beer cold.
Taps/kegs must be reserved (first come, first
served) by emailing
kegs@lovibonds.com and picked up Fri, Sat, Sun
and returned no later than the following Thursday*
Current pricing for Henley Gold, Amber and Dark is
65.00 (ex VAT)
* Please note there is a deposit
of 100 that will be taken against damage or
disappearance of our stuff. Also note that
this system of dispense uses air, therefore this keg
should be for a party where you can guarantee you
and your guests will beat the barrel in a session. |

| Our BBQ
is now lit every Saturday from mid-day. The
menu is simple, we're doing local sausages that have
been slow cooked in onions and Henley Gold, then
browned up on the grill and handmade burgers, again
with a bit of Henley Gold in the mince. |

Once again Lovibonds has donated its tasting room as
a venue and we have some great nights of comedy
lined up for you. Please book your tickets
EARLY as last year we had many disappointed that the
shows were sold out in advance. |

Magners International Comedy Festival sell out 2011
- Direct Devitt is a comedy extravaganza, with
stand-up, sketches and a cheeky panto...
Hosted by Anna Devitt (Scottish Comedian Of The Year
Semi Finalist 2009 ) Written by Cathie Devitt. With
Special Guest appearances. I think it is save
to assume this is adult humour as well...

Totie is a contemporary singer-songwriter from
Henley, who graduated from ACM a year ago with a
higher Diploma in vocals. She will be debuting her
new material and a selection of covers, with a
unique blend of piano, textured melodies and
storytelling lyrics, this is the perfect way to end
