Happy Christmas!

As we head for a beautiful white Christmas*, everyone here at Lovibonds wishes you and your families a happy and safe holiday.

We've had another successful year and would like to thank you for your continued support.

* We hope the winter weather hasn't messed up your plans too badly.  It has caused us some serious challenges to say the least.  Please enjoy the snow while it lasts!

New Customers

We've reached capacity on several fronts and are only taking on new customers within our local delivery radius...with the most recent being:

The Highwayman in Checkendon

The Highwayman Inn is beautiful 16th century Inn situated on the edge of the stunning Chilterns.  They have 1 Rosette but are first and foremost a pub that serves good food and will always remain a place where you can come for just a drink.  The Highwayman is now serving Henley Gold on draught.

Sour Grapes

For the last 7 months we've been aging our Sour Grapes in Pinot Noir barrels in our cellar.  We believe we are the first brewer in the UK to have such a project on the go.  We took our original Sour Grapes and to each of the 3 wine barrels we added a different strain of wild yeast.

We recently pulled out some for the IPA launch and meet the brewer nights and it has been winning awards and getting rave reviews.  We still have one keg left for sampling on the bar, so please come and enjoy it while it lasts.  We will be packaging this beer later on in 2011.

69 Launch and Meet the Brewer

Over the last month or two we've been busy promoting Lovibonds to the craft beer lovers of London.  Firstly was a launch of our 69 IPA at The Rake in Borough Market, followed by a Meet the Brewer session at The Cask Pub and Kitchen in Pimlico.

We had a great time at both events and the beers were very well received.  Best to stay tuned to facebook or twitter for other upcoming events in the City.

On a final note, please don't forget:

Your local brewer is for life, not just for Christmas ;-)

The first months of the year are tough for all businesses, especially brewers!  We hope to see you early in the new year.

Hope you have a great Christmas and New Year.
