Lovibonds Back in Historic Shop |

You can read the history behind our location
here, but in a nutshell,
John Lovibond and Sons had a shop in the Henley Market Place
from about 1916, this being the same building that we occupy the
rear of today.
In the 1960's Lovibonds was taken over and this shop has gone
through a series of owners, most recently First Quench whose
brands included Theshers and Wine Rack. We've tried for
years to get our beer into this shop with no luck...until now.
First Quench
collapsed a couple weeks
ago, leaving us wondering if this was a good or bad thing.
Thankfully, the Henley shop has been saved from closure and
purchased by a group that appreciates having a local beer
selection. You can once again buy Lovibonds beer in this
historic shop, with them now stocking our entire range of
bottled beers!
We'll be doing a tasting there (Wine Rack, Henley Market
Place) on Saturday (tomorrow) from 12:00... |

Here are our opening hours for Christmas and the start of the
New Year.
We are doing our best to keep up with demand! If you
are looking for party kegs it is always best to ring ahead of
time (01491 576 596) as we only keep a limited stock of them
